Road Etiquette Rules

  1. Carry snow chains in vehicle (two for back tires). No cable cross links because they rip out too easily. Carry 3 bungees per tire, two for the outside and one for the inside.

  2. Brake and down shift before the down grades.

  3. Be dressed and have the supplies to walk to safety: water, snack, light and something for the mountain lions!

  4. Standard right-of-way laws apply.

  5. Downhill facing drivers must yield right of way.

  6. Warn other motorists with headlights, CB and/or horn.

  7. Don’t hug the center when passing oncoming traffic.

  8. No running red traffic lights!
